Bill Bader Jr, owner of Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk Ohio (I know it's a drag strip). Thought this was a very interesting article, and I think many track owners are of this same opinion. If any choose to be as bold as Bader remains to be seen!

I realize most open wheel dirt track facilities do not have the kind of overhead Bader has, but it's still a gutsy move on his part.

April 11 has come and gone. Did he open? How many people showed up? Did he make money? As I type this Michigan has had over 3,000 people die. The curve is getting better on the east side of the state. But the numbers are going up on the west side of the state. Not at the volume of the Detroit area. But are going up. The state has allowed a limited of things to open up yesterday. But still things are no where back to normal. We are under a stay at home order till may 15. That is the day the all Stars sprints are to race at I96 speedway. Not sure if that will happen or if I would go to it if it did happen.
