hopefully usac will step up to the plate and utilize their live feed capabilities we have only soon them use a couple times this year. many fans and team members are left at home during the trip west every year, without the ability to see whats happening . why does usac not use the live feed more often? theirs an awful lot of people in the midwest who would watch it live on the net. i doubt that ticket sales would be very adversey affected since most people cant afford to travel to california to watch , so y not let the interested people see whats goin on.

Not being to picky here but PIR is in Arizona, many teams will have first traveled to California to run at Perris and then find there way back to Avondale for PIR and Phoenix for Manzy next week

Usac using their live feed capablites would certainly provide a service to the many fans and family members of the teams left at home. I sure enjoyed watching the feed from Richmond for the Sliver Crown Race.

You are corect when you say having his feed will not effect ticket sales. The lack of advertising or promoting of this race will however effect ticket sales. Bashas's grocery store had a insert in a recent paper which gave a PIR Fan Schedule of events Nov.6-Nov.9 and a Show Car Schedule. This insert is the only thing I have seen in a month in the paper to even indicate that USAC is racing at PIR. The Show Car Schedule is for NASCAR teams only, why doesn't USAC have some of there cars on display next Tue. & Wed.?

With today's economy, entertainment is one of the first places people are cutting back; a low car count and poor attendance for the PIR race can only spell doom for securing a race date for 2009.

I am sure the USAC faithful left at home will care if there is internet/tv covergae. The live feed from Richmond meant you didn't have to sit at home waiting for a phone call or post on IOW.

The USAC pit pass page for Perris says audio stream all three nights.

I think the reason you got video from Richmond was that they used the IRL feed that they use to show practice and qualifying on the IRL website.

There are LOTS of us having to stay at home that would love to have video. Very few wouldn't pay the price for webcast at Perris & Manzy. I would be glad to plop my money down just to be able to watch. Maybe someday, someone will be able to pull it off.
