I see Sprint Week now has a title sponsor (NOS Energy), but there is no details on what that really means. No break down or amount that will be distributed. I'm glad there is now a sponsor but why are the details so minimal.

"Sponsor" doesn't necessarily equate to a distribution of money to the competitors; it's a business agreement where the sponsor (NOS) gets advertising exposure in return for monetary contribution which helps fund the event (ISW). Some of that contribution no doubt will make its' way into the purse structure but I don't think those figures are usually public knowledge; how much of the naming rights fees for Banker's Life Fieldhouse is paid to each Pacer? Or, closer to home, how much of the fee PennGrade pays for naming rights to the 500 go to the purse? Kind of the same situation.
