That's a real good question Chris Smith.
I can only say a long...long time. I was just telling a buddy at the Bloomington midget week event how iconic of a sprint car Clyde Lamar has campaigned for years. I can't recall seeing that sprint car out here much if any? The furthest east I've seen it has been Devils Bowl in Mesquite,Tx. like late 80s. That car is chalked full of history with many talented chauffeur's over the years.

I remember seeing Dave Bradway run the car at the Eldora Nationals. They were headed to Knoxville the next week. I still have the T shirt I bought from him. He died later that year.

I believe the 86 Eldora Nationals was the farthest east I have seen the Tri C Machine. It was when Dave Bradway Jr piloted it. I bought a shirt that week and watched him the following week at Knoxville. One helluva talent and still highly revered on the West coast as the Bradway Memorial is a highly coveted event in NorCal. He was killed the following year at The Dirt Cup at Skagit.
