A person really cares if you live in wing country and no non-wing racing close by. I like'm both and appreciate the differences between the two. Heck, I even enjoy a good late model race so I guess I'm really strange.

If winged racing was maybe two 20 lap heats. Take top 11 from each and then run a 50 lap feature, I may like it.
Features sometimes can be very good if they stay green and the air gets mucked up. Until then its usually a train of 30ft spaced single file heats thats only passing comes on restarts..
I find it interesting that the PA Sprintweek has taken the dates that normally were Ohio Sprintweek dates. Ohio usually ran the week of July 4th and then all of a sudden they don't but PA does.

PA speedweek has always been around the 4th of July. Years ago many Pa teams would go do Ohio Speedweek, and the tracks would be a bit light on cars for the Holiday weekend. So the Pa promoters started Pa Speedweek to keep the cars at home. The first few years of Pa Speedweek I went to almost every race. A lot of racing in a short time without to much travel once you get there.
I always get a kick out of the Pa fans that come to Indiana for Sprint week, and they tell me I should come to Pa,as they have the best cars and the best racing. I always tell them I have been there many times, and then I ask them if they have the best out there, what did they come to Indiana for? They should stay home instead!
