Good news on the weather front for the 73rd Running of the Turkey Night Grand Prix at Perris Auto Speedway. The storm that had been predicted to hit the on Thursday is now on a path to drift south of the area and into Mexico. Only rain is light showers on Friday. If you cannot make the event and you are over 100-miles away, you can watch live on PPV at www.thecushion.com

The weather would have to be pretty good to be as good as last year but I really hope it is.

We sat in the grandstand 'till A-main time in shirt sleeves.

Scott, even though we won't be able to be in the stands this year we'll be watchin' the PPV wishin' we were. A low of 17 degrees is forecast for Central Illinois on Thanksgiving Night and watchin' Turkey Night will be a welcome diversion from the cold weather outside.

Looking forward to some good West Coast midget racin' and hearing your voice on the PA again.
