Looks like i need to see a race at this place. Great track conditions and those cars are hauling it!

Tim, I'm pretty sure you would not be the least disappointed with a midget show at Mighty Macon. Especially with a top quality sanctioning body like POWERi putting on the show.

Macon is an all around good place to see a midget race. Great racetrack, good food and drink at relatively reasonable prices and way above average spectator facilities. Sarge also schedules to race cars of the open wheel persuasion with some frequency, something many of us in Illinois are starved for. Most tracks here in "The Land O' Lincoln and crooked politicians" are late models, mods and 3 other support classes only.

Silver Crown Championship Dirt Cars properly driven on a one mile dirt track are classic poetry in motion. Using that analogy, Jack Hewitt is one of the greatest poets of all time.

It's definitely a great place to watch an open wheel race! I also do video for the MOWA 410 Sprint Car Series and we have a show there on July 28th. 410's can get REALLY dicey around that joint!!
