Just Wondering
Who will / likely be racing a Midget at Montpelier Motor Speedway during the 2012 season??
Just trying to get an idea of which drivers / owners will running their Midgets there??

Would be cool to see them eventually get a full field of cars with in the first few nights.

We will certainly support this promoter when our schedule permits. We've waited ten years for something like this to happen. Let's get this deal off the ground.

And as fans of midget racing if these guys are willing to run we as fans need to show our support and go see a show when we can to help get it off the ground. We just dont have many places running midgets these days like the past. Hope it works out and becomes something permanent.

I would say yes. It's a Full Size Midget isn't it?
They are racing Full Size normal Midgets.

Im seriously thinking about it. I really like the schedule if it stays at every other week

Yes, Powri cars are definitely legal. The only difference is how we will determine minimum weight. We will bring the cars across our scales at the conclusion of the A Main event. Our minimum weight is 1,050 pounds including the driver's weight and safety gear.

The schedule will basically run every other week unless that weekend conflicts with another show. Schedule right now is 10 shows, mostly every other week except for a couple exceptions.

Come out and race with us as we would love to have your support.

I'm hoping to make it out at least once with my r1 powered "midget". I do love the fact that the series opened itself up enough to accept us mini sprinters. The more opportunity we have to "mix it up a bit" with different tracks, different crowds and different orientations (wingless, asphalt, etc.) the more it is going to improve the sport. If we can help to "save" the midget at the same time, extra bonus! Thanks again to everyone involved at Montpelier for getting this class up and running for everyone!
