Race Series Purses just seem to be less and less. But the attendance I have seen just doesnt seem to support less money for races and teams. Please post the purses of race series and lets see whos purses are going up or down compared to last year.

USAC sprints on pavement is my absolute favorite type of motorsport. I have always been a staunch cheerleader for USAC. With that said, how do we get more cars on the pavement if they are paying only $2,500 to win at Anderson? It used to be $5,000, right?

I love this sport and want to see it thrive, so I am just asking the question. I am just an idiot fan, so help me on this.

Gregg I agree with all of your post except the very end, it is my opinion that you are far from being an idiot. Sounds like a fan with some knowledge of the sport he loves.
