This is a great payout for all divisions running!! Who all is coming?

Can't make it cause we will be coming home from Eldora. I did go to the Frank Filskow Memorial race at Plymouth though on Saturday.

The few of you who made it to the Illinois Sprint Week at LaSalle this year know what an excellent track this is. If you haven't been, I would recommend you go if you can. I am certainly not a wing fan, as my nickname would probably lead you to believe, but I attended a WoO show there a few years ago and it was really exciting and even had passing. Pair this up with POWRi at Macon on Saturday, and perhaps Shaheens Back From the Past at Jacksonville Friday, with over 1,000 custom cars in Springfield the whole weekend and you have a good road trip.

Come on over and spend money, Illinois needs the tax revenue.

LaSalle is one of the best short tracks for Winged sprints. The WoO show this year had a ton of passing and side by side racing!

Why did this race go from a sprint race to a Winged Hogshed race?

Not sure what you mean oppweld.. This the the first year for this race.

During the Illinois sprint week race they had a flier for another sprint car show on this date. NON wing and not IRA sanctioned. I am not running down the IRA but I think they panicked and switched to wings due to the low attendence and car count for the previous show. The problem for the previous show was it was a Thursday night and the word didn't get out about this gem of a track.

Bill Waite Jr was scheduled in June and was always a winged show. I am not sure about the other show. You may be right or someone may have put the wrong information out. I love both wing and non wing sprints. Bill race winged sprints so that is what the family is putting on.
