All,
I want to personally thank Robert for his actions this past weekend at the Action Track. He gathered up several drivers and asked them to go out on their own DIME and pack the track so us fans could see a race.
If Robert (& others) would have not done this I do not think this show would have started until well after 10:00pm maybe closer to 11.
I do find it very discouraging that neither THAT or MSCS thanked him for his help. 2 years in a row I have seen several cars run out of fuel during this event.
Robert has been on the bad end of this deal the past 2 years and I really think MSCS officials need to re think some of their rules when it comes to this race.
I definitely would want to be one of the last to be pushed off after seeing this BS 2 years in a row.
I agree, Jason. I talk to a lot of people when I go to the track and let me tell you, Robert taking the initiative to help run the track in Saturday went over very well with the race fans. In the infield and grandstands, both. And he's starting to earn him a pretty good fan base here, because he always shows up to race and tends to do things like driving 27 laps on three tires or doing what he did Saturday to help get the track ready. And a lot of his fans that I've met aren't ones that are new to racing. They tend to be ones that have been chasing races around here, for a long time. So they're not ones who are all that easy to impress.

A man is about as big as the things that make him angry.
I been going to races for over 40 years. Robert Ballou is at the top of my list as far as being a great guy to talk to in the pit`s ,and the best face of sprint car racing to come along in years.
Best of luck to you this season , and your whole racing career.
Robert is becoming one of my favorites. Every time you see the red 81 at a race you just know the show will be exciting. We should all buy a shirt from him. His dedication to the sport is clearly being shown. After all, how many drivers flip get out in 5 seconds and try to roll thier own car back over. If you were at kokomo last sunday you know what Im talking about. GO 81!!!!!
Yes sir i was there. He tried to flip it over by himself ,then got help--fixed it up then flipped again in the consy. Great competitor and great for racing.
I agree a very exciting driver! Please come in for the eastern swing I want a t-shirt. I'll buy one from Pine, but I'd rather watch you race 4 nights!:99::
Robert Ballou- Thanks for all you do for non-wing sprint
car racing. I had planned on being at Terre Haute but
the weather looked bad. About a 300 mile trip for me.
I could just kick myself for not going. Heard it was
a very tacky track. Be at the "Hulman Classic".
Best Regards,
John
