Anthony Joseph Foyt Jr. was born on this date in 1935. In my opinion, the greatest driver of our time.
I doubt that he will see this, as I don't believe he is a computer guy, but I will send well wishes his way anyway.
Have a good one, AJ!

Oh, A.J. was a computer guy at one time, but he broke his during the 1998 Indianapolis 500. :2:

I agree! A.J. has given me more thrills over the years than most women I've known. From the first time I saw him in the late 50's @ New Bremen until he retired he was the best that ever put on a helmet. I can think of no other driver that won in every type of car he strapped his ass into. Thanks for the memories and Happy Birthday Super Tex!

A.J. is easily the best I've ever seen but I'm only 70 and have been chasing race cars for only 49 years. Consequently, I haven't seen Barney Oldfield, Tommy Milton, Louis Meyer, Wilbur Shaw, and so many other greats who I've only read about. BUT, Danny Burton tells me that as good as they were, A. J. Foyt was better. That's plenty good enough for me, so:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE GREATEST RACE CAR DRIVER OF ALL TIME!!!

Ron & Marv, well said by both. As I look through my book of "Fifty Years of Speed and Glory" I see several pictures of A.J. and others, just awesome. Best wishes on your special day A.J.
