I just wanted to take a minute to thank all of the teams and fans for supporting the MSCS during the 2009 season. What a great way to end the season with a $5,000 and 2 $10,000 to win races. Having these 3 big paying shows brought alot of stout competition and exciting racing for the fans. When you have over 50 cars signed into the pits there are going to be some damn good drivers not transferring to the feature event. We as a series hate to see anybody not make the feature and have to go home but that's why our sport is called racing. Shane Cottle passed 16 cars in the A Main at Bloomington, Casey Shuman passed 12 cars in the A Main at Haubstadt, and Damian Gardner passed 14 cars in the A main at Lawrenceburg. As an announcer that was fun to watch and call on the mic and i hope it was just as exciting for the fans in the stands watching.
Again thank you to all of the teams, fans, and promotors for a great 2009 MSCS season. Stay tuned to www.mscssprints.com for 2010 news and schedule.
Jason there is still time to schedule another race in 2009. I am looking out the window at some lonely red clay that would love to have 65 more sprint cars on it. Just a thought. You can't blame a fella for trying.
The Irish for tradional sprint fairplay committie has awarded Scott, Jen and Sam best tailgate for the 2009 season. Congratulations........ and thank you !!
