This Saturday, March 28, will be the kick off of the 2009 racing season at Twin Cities Raceway Park in beautiful Vernon, IN. There has been a lot of work done to the racing surface over the past month and track promoters Mason and Tawnya Fleetwood are ready to get the season under way! The super stock #7m team will also be on hand this weekend selling a few products for one of their sponsors…www.savethetatas.com to help promote breast cancer awareness. This is in memory of a fellow racer (Joe Johnson)’s wife who lost her battle a few months ago. The following classes will be set for this weekend’s racing action:

Sprint Cars,
UMP Super Stocks,
UMP Modifieds,
UMP Pure Stocks,
Hornets,
Cruisers

Grandstand Admission $12 (Kids 12 & under free with PAID adult)
Pit Pass $25

Pit Gate Opens @ 3pm
Grandstands Open @ 4pm
Pill Draw Closes @ 5:30pm
Hot Laps @ 6pm
Racing Immediately Following Hot Laps

For more information on this race and many more to come visit the official website of Twin Cities Raceway Park at www.twincitiesracing.net

See You At The Races!

FIVE support series? No thank you. I guess some promoters just don't understand the cries of some race fans. I need to be home before I go to work on Monday morning.:O:

My father in law recently moved to North Vernon, so I figured I could get compensated for having to visit him by going to the races. I checked the Twin Cities website, and on nights where sprints are running, they are running 4 or 5 support classes. On second thought, maybe not. Hey Lawrenceburg isn't that far from there.....:thumb

Sprint Cars are late additions to the schedule, there should be no reason the Support Classes should be shafted. And the sprints will be ran FIRST all night long.
