There's been quite a bit of talk about purses and also about if Flo is helping or hurting attendance.
I was wondering if there could be a donate button. Say every track that's ran gets one night they could add a donate button, That money could be split half to the track, half to the purse. I know some of these races have to have tens of thousands of viewers. I mean it would be possible to put something like the chili bowl as the highest paying open wheel race period. The Kiwi's Aussies etc all eat it up. and Vice versa, American's cold donate to a Powri Kiwi race.
Would start something like morning of the race or a couple hours before the race (To make sure weather is good and it will be run. Post the button on the event page. End it after the consi's Tally it up and announce actual payout.
Just thinking out loud, Some top teams are doing ok, But Im sure it could help the further down the finish order and also help give incentive to locals to try to make a sanction race. IDK, Maybe Im crazy. But I wouldn't mind throwing in now and then if it helps tracks and racers. I can't make many as it is. But it's never kept me from making the ones I can. I can come home and watch flo after.

Charles, you are on a roll! Great thinking on your part. Fan engagement. Just a couple of bucks online, once in a while, from many fans would really up a purse, especially for a mid week show like Atomic schedules or local track shows on FLO as well. Like tipping well a really good server. We both feel good. Your suggestion comes on the heals of two years of very successful fan donations of $ and supplies for teams running the ASCoC Ohio Speedweek thanks to Stephanie Linder. Duane Hancock solicited lap money for a Fremont Fair race in 2021 for the weekly support class 305 sprints. Also, fan involvement through the Elliot's Trailer Kokomo Smackdown 2022 lottery. Fans win, teams win, the event wins.
