Kansas Auto Racing Museum-Chapman KS. Take The Tour

If you are going East or West on I-70, West of Junction City, or East Of Abilene you will find Chapman and the Kansas Auto Racing Museum. Stop for a while and you will get to see the 1st NASCAR trophy won by a Kansan and the 1st NHRA trophy won in the state of Kansas by a Kansan.
I dare say you could spend an hour or all day checking out the memorabilia from Kansas Racers in the state of Kansas.
Doug and Roger Thomson who have raced for several decades and have a rich history all their own besides all the other racers represented at the museum.
Take the time to stop you will be glad you did. Enjoy.
I stopped there on my drive East earlier this summer, 2nd visit. Anything to break up that long drive! Walter Chrysler's home is also right off I-70, worth a visit too
