Pavement sprints

Obviously dirt is much better racing for sprint cars. But there is just something special about a lightning fast sprint car on a half-mile pavement track also. It is part of our history. And now it's gone. I would like to see sprint car race at Winchester, Salem, and IRP again. But I would make it mandatory that you have to run the same car that you run on dirt. It could easily be done if you mandated that all cars to be a 40 inch car. You could also mandate that all cars be a four bar car, nor coil springs allowed. This would actually be better racing anyway, as the cars would skate around and be on the verge of being loose. Let's bring back our history!!

The engine costs are getting stupid... A lot of us want to take off the wickerbills, flatten the wings out, and use a really hard RR. I don't enjoy needing every inch of 870hp on a big track, it's expensive.

From what I'm told the American Racers do last through several heat cycles.

What tracks other than Anderson actually run Non-Wing pavement sprint races in the In. area?
