Just turned tv on to discover Mav TV was no longer on the program line up. It's not clear whether it's temporary while there is negotiations between the companies or not. I called Dish and gave them a piece of my mind, and did get a reduction of $5 per month for 6 months. They say there working on getting them back on!

If you have dish and haven't had this with other networks before. You must not have had it long Dish does it when companies demand more money. The TV Network starts losing Viewers and sponsors and eventually the TV network agrees to less.

Its why dish price doesn't change very often.

Charlie's right. The guy from Dish (Charlie Ergin) stands up for his customers. He did the same thing with the Golf channel and with Fox News. And they both came back around and we did get a discount on our bill. We'll stick with Dish, had satellite tv with Charlie's equipment since 1984.

ESPN is the 800 lb. gorilla in the room with its "family" of networks charging cable operators more and more all the time which filters down to the viewers paying more.

I just wish my cable provider offered it... I've told them multiple times if they don't have it when my term is up I'll be cancelling. Still nothing. I think my term is up in August though.

I have Comcast.... And it's a $30 package of channels I have to buy to get it. I called Mav TV and asked if they would have an app or an online purchase option and they said maybe by fall. I can't see giving the clowns at Comcast $30 for one channel... It's the principal.
