Race fans are in for a treat on Saturday July 26 at Angola Motorsport Speedway. The USSA non-wing Sprint Car Challenge Series Built by the UAW presented by Superior Auto will headline a smorgasbord of racing with something for every race fan.
The Sprint Car Challenge Series Built by the UAW cars are pure bread short track racers featuring 850 horsepower engines, wide tires and no frills. Racing without wings, the cars put it all on the drivers. The racing on Angola’s 3/8 mile track is sure to be fast and exciting. The USSA sprint cars will be joined by the Shepherds Chevy, Buick, GMC Late Models, the Superior Auto Modifieds, Randy’s Tranny Plus Street Stocks and the Bill’s Professional Towing mini stocks and the Miller Mafia Front Wheel Drives. ATV Stunt Man Henry “Pitbull” Rife will also be on hand to thrill the crowd with his special kind of daredevilry. Sprint Car Challenge Series Qualifying begins at 5:30 and racing will kick-off at 7:00. Fans can enjoy the full night of racing excite at Angola Motorsport Speedway for $15 for Adults, $13 students and seniors and kids 10 and under are free. |

I'm wondering about the weather...
If it's going to storm, will they call it early? I think there will be some guys going up to race Spartan Speedway tonight and then head to Angola on Saturday. Should be a great weekend of non wing pavement sprint car racing in Michigan and northern Indiana. |
