First podium finish in a USAC race tonight at Big Diamond. This isn't a high dollar team but man are the showing they are a threat at any pit they pull into. They are one of the last cars to load up after the races as they don't want any kid to not be able to sit in a sprint car or go home without an autograph. Class act team for sure. Congrats to the entire Stockon family.
You could not have said it any better. I sponsor Chase, and could not have been any more happy than when I woke up at 4 a.m. for work and saw the picture of him on the podium. Great guy. He's the most appreciative person you'll ever meet. The time is coming for him to put it in the circle. The 32 team is probably the most low budget, full time USAC team. It's awesome to see him running up front and not tearing any equipment up.
Everybody likes seeing stories like this. Ones about guys with more talent than money, in a high dollar sport, doing good. I've been a Chase fan for years now and to top it all off, he's such a good guy. If you want to go to the pits and talk to drivers, stop in and chat with this guy. He seems to love to talk to race fans. And it's no shocker, because that whole family's nice. I always look forward to talking with Sam Sr. at the track. He was a real good racer himself, when I was a kid and loves talking about Chase.
