Brent Turner Wins at Gas City

Brent Turner made it two wins in a row in UMRA competition with his victory in the 25-lap feature at the Gas City I-69 Speedway on Friday night. The win was Turner’s third of the season and sixth of his UMRA career. For his efforts, Turner also received a certificate to the Dutch Mill Buffet in Millroy.
Turner was followed to the finish line by runner-up Bobby Walton, Trent Henderson, Wayne Harpring, and Ron Combs rounded out the top five. Heat race winners, who also were awarded Dutch Mill Buffet certificates, were Wayne Harpring, Ron Combs, and Brent Turner. The five gallons of fuel for the G&G Oil “Hard Charger of the Race” went to Terry Goff for the fifth time this season as he advanced from seventeenth to eighth in the feature.
The next event for the UMRA TQ Midgets will be on Sunday August 2 at the Kokomo Speedway.
