Uncle Buck,

I will tell you the truth...I can see why some event promoters do not advertise much...because many times the return on your dollar is not worth it. It used to be you only had three television networks, radio and newspaper.
It is now much harder to reach the masses, with cable and the internet segmenting the audience. It is very easy to overspend on advertising.

I plan on running an ad in the NSSN Track guide for the Speedrome races...and maybe the Indy Star. I am going to call the Star today..but I can tell you it will be expensive.

This thread has been entertaining, and that is the goal on IOW...one KEY thing for everyone to remember...Lets have fun with the good natured zingers...and not take this stuff to seriously where it gets to be hateful. I think zingers are ok....but no personal attacks...I thought it was funny when Duke wondered ***....lol

But Uncle Buck had a right to chime in also...It looks like he doesn't see much short track promotion in the area
he is from...That market is VERY expensive....racing probably gets the niche sport treatment like surfing up there.
If someone zings you...zing em back...but not in a hurtfull way. Have fun with it

I have not always practiced this...but I find when I do...I have a better time.

I will also say this...LET DUKE BE DUKE!
