I too considered Lloyd among my favorite drivers of that era. Scotty, I got a few on ya, I'm pushin 72 years on this Planet, and I think I couldn't be any luckier, to have been able to see both ends of the tunnel, there were several before my time, but I don't feel there will be any more "great" ones, at least from this Country. I was sitting about 6 rows behind Lloyd's pit that day, you could see his unform "deflate" as he pulled out. I had an opportunity several years later, to ask him about that day, I didn't want to, but I did, and his comment was, " I might have been a little anxious", and I let the subject drop. We sure were rootin him on, woulda been nice, but then, just knowing him was nice also! Bob
