I yam who I yam. I know several people here, even Chris Pedersen. I've been going to races since the Truman Administration, or since my good friend Marv Fish was in junior high school.
There are quite a few good folks here that I've actually met. Quite a few more that I'd like to meet, including that Seapooch guy from Cincy.
At the track, I often hang around that Hoover guy and his buddy Shaw, to their everlasting regret and shame.
For different reasons (mostly my mother's illness) I've had to step away from writing for much of the midwestern off-season. But I write for both the website and newspaper that appear below here.
Racing influences include my dad, Dave Argabright, and Mr. Happy, though not always in that order.
The Darland sisters are both a lot of fun. And I admire their brother as much as I do anyone in racing.
Seek out Butch Wilkerson. He's usually good for a story or 12. Some of them are even true.
