I thought the meeting went well, Gary Lee did a good job, as usual, of putting forth the goals, and the vision of the new TQ League. Mark explained some questions about the driver Insurance, and the dollar amount of coverage, at no added cost to the participants, procedures were explained, as well as the schedule, and the payoffs to the drivers. Several teams were present, and especially some new to TQ racing. This may well be a turning point in TQ midget racing, offering an opportunity to not only boost the number of teams, but also expand the payout, and bring it more in line with the cost of owning and racing a TQ midget. Times change, people change, and ideas change, to move into this 21st century, lots of subtle changes must be made, to advance and move into this new century.
