Let me please make a comment or two from the safety team's perspective.
1. Stopping ASAP as safely as possible makes our job of getting to the scene much
quicker.
2. When you do stop, pay attention...stopping next to another car can make it tough
to get a safety vehicle through to the crash scene. I have already had to stop
and back up because a racer swerved at the last second, filling an opening.
3. When the red comes out, rest assured...SAFETY VEHICLES ARE MOVING...PLEASE
GIVE THEM ROOM! YOU WOULD WANT THAT IF THEY ARE COMING TO HELP YOU!

Remember, at the end of the night, everyone goes home standing up.
