There's always Sullivan's. Never been to the one in Indy, but I've been to the one in Raleigh and it's always good. Plus, they are still cigar friendly (if you are so inclined).

And, there's always the Beef Haus up 74 toward Danville. I know it's a bit of a drive, but I've never left there disappointed and the prices are not that bad given the size of the meal.

Someday, I will partake of St. Elmos. Heard way too many good things about it. Got to try that shrimp cocktail. Horseradish-heavy? Sounds good to me.
