Bill, as usual I was away from IOW for a few days and as I was scanning the pages I found your thread. Man, as a guy who is also fighting the battle, my heart goes out to you and your family. Cancer is so wicked and painful. You are right however, when you get Cancer you realize what is important. All of those little things just roll right off your shoulders, while you concentrate on having as much fun as possible. It's true, the grass is a whole lot greener and the sky is a whole lot bluer now. I take the time to hear my kids at 6 and 10yrs laugh and really take the time to hear what they have to say, no matter how silly it seems to be.

I hope you can tolerate the chemo treatments OK. This third round for me has been tough and it seems like my body instantly remembers what the chemo was doing before. Pain is one thing... but being nauseated is another. So I really hope that your treatments are easy on you.
