I think the racing has always been special at Tristate. That is the first place I seen this young kid from Bloomington that was really something special to watch in a sprinter. I really think that the racing has progressed to the point that now most everyone can buy the same equipment to make the racing a whole lot more equal. There will always be exceptions like Clayton in the 92 at Haubstadt, when he is chasing or being chased by Stanbrough in the 53, that make for those memoriable nights but all in all I think its just the sport progressing. JMO
