If you want to get to the top of the open wheel ranks these days, midgets aren't exactly the best place to go. What kind of IRL team cares about a midget driver if they can't bring money or can't road race like those who have been doing it all their lives?
Besides that, Steve has been one of the most competitive car owners in the history of midget racing. It's going to be odd not seeing those famous #9 cars on the track. Good luck to him and his future endeavors. :checkered:
