If you never had the pleasure of watching him, you missed something. He was a guy who could drive anything and proved it late in his career winning in both sprints and late models.
I sure miss those days as a kid at Springfield Speedway. Jim Moughan, Dean Shirley, Ronnie Milton, Dick Watson, Ol Bub, the Cannon brothers, Jerry Camfield.
Racing just doesn't seem as much fun as it was back then.
