Over this past weekend I spoke with a couple of people associated with a couple of different SC teams. Both of them expressed the opinion that this proposal is in reaction to complaints about tire wear by some the the "Elite" teams whose "development drivers" haven't learned enough throttle control to make their tires last 100 miles.

So they want USAC to FIX THE PROBLEM!

These "Elitists" are closely related to those wonderful people who talked USAC into FIXING the Pavement SC cars.

It's all about gaining an advantage to make THEIR drivers look better, thus generating more income from Mother NASCAR.

Time to do what's right for THE SILVER CROWN SERIES and STOP CATERING TO NASCAR!!
