I agree! Congratulations indeed! :thumb
Watching Dickie struggle and be the subject of much critism last year wasn't easy, so I'm happy to see the progress the team made this year. They definitely were firing on all cylinders from mid-year on.
That made listening to Frick or Frack or whomever the announcer was last night especially difficult. Accoring to him Dickie has one foot in the grave and may never have another chance to win a track championship. Bland, meanwhile, has a "wide open prairie" in front of him. The Bland butt-kissing has been worse than usual this year at Bloomington and the slight continues on the Bloomington website today. Pictures are posted of the modified and super stock champions, but not of the sprint champion.
Don't get me wrong, Bland is a good driver. But he's not as good as the announcer makes him out to be. When he and Dickie both wound up at the rear of the feature, Dickie was the one to move up through the field. He knew what he had to do and he did it. He worked for that championship and I, for one, am very proud of him and the entire team.
Sorry for the mini-rant, I just get tired of the blatant bias. I'm stepping off my soapbox now.
Continued success to Dickie and Team Pottorff :checkered:
