When I retired my wife and I decided to buy a bar in Lakewood, CA. to keep busy. I have always been a fan of sprint car racing so last year we started sponsoring Tony Jones and the Alexander Sprint car team. We have had Tony and the car out to the bar on three occassions, so our customers are beginning to understand what a sprint car looks like. Starting last year myself and my son started going to the PAS on a regular basis. I invited some of our customers and now we have a regular group of 5-6 at every race. It makes going to the races fun. The trip from the Long Beach area to Perris is about one hour, though that is when traffic is good and it rarely is in L.A. So our journey ususally takes a good couple of hours. The weekend after next we have two new fans wanting to go with us so it should be fun introducing two newbies to this great sport. PAS is a wonderful race facility and they make it very enjoyable for race fans. Tony has won the last two races there. :nonwingfan: :checkered:
