Worse thing to ever happen was when Nextel/Sprint became the title sponsor of NASCAR. Now, whenever I say I'm going to a sprint car race, they automatically think NASCAR and start telling me that Little E is their favorite. I then tell them I don't give a damn about NASCAR and then they just look confused.
I'm reminded of a bumper sticker I used to see that went something like: Eldora, if you have to ask, you'll never understand.
I quit trying to explain and usually just tell people I'm headed north to visit family.

Alky I believe I met you last year just off the I69 interchange by Gas City at the gas station there. You were going to Gas City and I had stopped there on my way to Eldora. If it was you, it was a pleasure meeting you. Your the type of person I could sit down and listen to for a long time. Maybe and hopefully our paths will cross again. The reason I believe it was you is the way you talked about the Spencers. Jerry and Josh it was all good. I could tell Alky has a treasure of information and stories. Almost had me going to Gas City so I could listen to more of what he had to say.
