Who could compete with Jon Stanbrough when he was on his game? Only a few drivers had (or have) the same "high dollar" equipment as the Foxco Team. Look where they are at now? Where is Danny Holtsclaw? When these guys tore up their cars they tore up alot of $$$$$.
Too many guys have quit over the last few years and its all because it cost too much. I myself am a victom of that, I need a $,4,000 injection to finish my motor and I can't afford it, but if I don't get one I know I won't be able to run up front.
I myself HATE rules, I believe in "runnin what you brung" but a series with some limitations would make it easier for guys like me to stay in racing. SPRINT CAR RACING!:checkered:
