There are many reason for the rule we have, The biggest is safety, i have heard horror stories of people getting ran over and killed in the pits from cars exciting the track fast trying to get thier car fixed. Also, when someone fast goes off and starts on the tail, accidents happen because he/she is fighting their way to the front in a short period of time. I could go on and on. There are many positives and negative concearning this rule. We will evaluate the rule in the off season and try to come up with a reasonable solution.
Maybe it just me, but it seems to me the only ones who have had tire issues are the guys running up front. Either way thanks for everyones imput and we will work on that issue this winter.
