That is indeed bad news. I first saw the #53/Stanbrough combination at East Bay in Florida during the Tn'T non-wing events about 3 years ago. After seeing Stanbrough in the 57,10,69 slick looking and competetive machines and his dismal performance at East Bay I wondered what he was doing in this Plain Jane piece. How wrong I was. Sorry to see it go. One of the highlights at any track the past few years was to see the #53 coming out for hots. I agree with others that JRS deserves a better ride than the #5. It has looked decent a few times, but mostly seems to be a field filler. Sad commentary. :crying: He'll be back!!!
