He always runs on the edge and when you do that, occasionally, you are going to go over the edge. The more times you go over the edge the more you learn exactly where the edge is and then you can consistently run closer to it without crossing over it. That is called experience and unfortunately you will tear up some equipment obtaining it.

As far as the 10 car goes some great drivers and great crew chiefs don't mesh and they will never be successful together. Others click right away and are very successful.

As an example, for whatever reason, Jon Stanbrough and I didn't click even though we were both successful before and after our teaming. Jerry and I clicked right away as the first two USAC races we ran we were 3rd and 2nd. Clayton and I have had two races together and he crashed in the first and won the second (Gas City Sprintweek 07) even though he tried to crash about every lap while leading!!!

Even though he is a gasser, I haven’t seen him do many blatant take out moves to gain position on the race track. He is very exciting to watch which will put fans in the stands and grow the sport that we all love. So count me as a Clayton fan and I wish him luck in his racing.
