USAC officials impounded Brady Bacon's motor coach Saturday at Kokomo after it was determined that not only had a step had been added in front of the front axle, but it was made of lead!!

Bacon admitted to a fan that the lead step was indeed added to keep the front end on the ground, but insisted it was not a rules violation because the motor coach was not entered in the race.

Upon leaning the motor coach was not officially entered in the race, USAC returned it to Bacon who discovered that four pints of chocolate oreo ice cream were missing from the refrigerator.
