I can’t imagine the mindset, strength and courage this young man has to go from being partially paralyzed in a USAC midget accident in November of 2021, to winning a USAC Sprint car race in Feb. of 2023. I have watched him all season and he has been fast and pretty consistent. IMO, this is a well deserved award.
