With the addition of POWRi's National midget schedule released yesterday and reported by Vookie, we can add the final puzzle pieces to the mystery of the so-called "National" engine midget schedule.
Xtreme has put forth 35 nights of racing (and 2 practice days). Included in that 35 nights is a July 21st TBA.
USAC has released 34 nights of racing. No TBAs. The 34 nights includes 2 appearance points only nights (2-Placerville) and 4 "feature only" points races (1-Placerville, 1-Eldora, 1-Wayne County, 1-Jefferson County).
POWRi has released 29 dates (and 2 practice days). Included in their 29 dates are 6 TBAs (5/12, 6/25, 7/21, 10/6, 10/7, & 12/16).
To answer the question, "How well are the sanctions getting along?", there are NO overlapping dates between Xtreme and USAC. There are NO overlapping dates between USAC and POWRi. There are ONLY two overlapping announced dates between Xtreme and POWRi. May 5th, Xtreme will be in Humboldt, KS while POWRi will be at Sweet Springs, MO and on May 6th, Xtreme will be at 81 Speedway in Wichita, KS and POWRi will be a Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO. Both share the July 21st date as TBA, and then they co-sanction the following night (July 22nd) at Southern Illinois. With regard to Xtreme and POWRi co-sanctions, they share 12 nights of co-sanction, plus the TBA night (and two co-sanctioned "practice" nights).
So the moral of the story for those who want to pursue a "national" midget schedule, you can compete for USAC, Xtreme, and POWRi points and only miss two shows from the total schedule. 84 shows scheduled, 82 total nights of racing.
By my rough estimate, that's 170 right rear tires, 10 engine freshenings, 2-3 total rebuilds, and 2000 gallons of methanol.
