Look where they’re having the first race! Putnamville Indiana. Putnamville was one of the last holdouts for non-wing in the 80’s. And this is where they do this. Screw those guys. Wings suck!
Putnamville is being extremely smart in doing this, they see the direction non-wing sprint racing is going and the upward direction Winged racing is going. They can't get 500 fans in the stands for a non wing race guarantee they get 5,000+ for this event.
