We were talking last night - in between snoozes - that they cannot have the Sunday night features go until 1am EST. Sheesh!! Gotta figure out something different there. You could move it to Thurs - Sat. Might hurt Thursday attendance, but running til 1am on a Sunday night hurts even worse.
We hope the event continues but the crowd just isn’t there. The car count was what we expected. Even if Indiana shut down racing last weekend, I don’t think there would’ve been any more competitors make that long haul - maybe 1 or 2.
The fact is, he is putting on a huge non-wing event right in the middle of wing country. Period.
All of that being said, if this event continues, we 100% recommend people to do whatever they can do to get out there. It is a beautiful area in our country and the track is top-notch
