I hope his services were well attended. - I missed John's racing career (does anyone know if he made some starts in the late 80s or Johnny Jr?); but I was able to meet him at his Polaris dealership. My friend Justin and I picked up what was called a Rascal Outlaw (an open wheel car with a Polaris engine) from there in 2011 (thankfully I got to run the car around a lot of tracks in the area, winning my last "career" - lol - heats and feature in it at Rockford Speedway). John came out when we loaded up and asked about the car and the races. Seemed like a nice guy!
