Chuck, Wings like it slick, but also like a cushion, slick in the middle, moisture on bottom, too. It makes for way better racing, that's the only reason.
Wings with Moisture all over, you are locked down & no passing. Makes for a lot more passing Non-Wing, when you have a cushion, slick in the middle, & moisture on the bottom, too.

I know you're a Non-Wing Fan #1, but both can have Racing with Not much passing. I've seen it as a Fan & as a Driver.
I've seen & been apart of super exciting Racing Winged & Non-Wing, too.
