FAST to Rumble In The Hills at Atomic April 3rd

The stars and cars of the Ti22 Performance FAST on Dirt tour will roll into Atomic Speedway this Saturday, April 3rd to battle for $5,000 to win the Rumble In The Hills. This first of 5 events at Atomic in 2021 is just a precursor to the next big 4 events paying $20,000 to win, $7,500 to win (twice) and a $10,000 to win event! Promoters Brad McCown and Chad Walter have really stepped to the plate to make the FAST tour events extremely lucrative!

For this Saturday, gate times have been moved forward one hour in an effort to keep fans out of the colder night temperatures. Pit gates will open at 2 pm with general admission gates opening at 3. Drivers meeting will be at 4:30 going straight into engine heat with hot laps set for 5 pm.

Joining the wicked FAST on Dirt winged 410 fire breathing sprint cars will be the UMP modifieds and sport mods. General admission is $20 with seniors (60+) and veterans just $15. Kids ages 10 and under are free in general admission. Pit passes are $35 for this event, with a kids pit price at $20 for ages 6-10. Children 5 and under are free in the pit area.

Last weekend's FAST season opener was won by Plano, Texas driver T.J. Michael with Gary Taylor, from Snohomish, Washington running a close second. Taylor, in the Seeling 97, is chasing the FAST championship and will be the points leader as the tour moves to southern Ohio this weekend. "Mad" Max Stambaugh, from Elida, Ohio rounded out the season opening podium, and is also after the 2021 title. Defending champion, Tyler Gunn from Napoleon, Ohio, on the heels of a great run in the opener to finish 6th, is also expected Saturday. Fans can also expect tour regulars Jordan Harble, Cole Duncan, Lee Jacobs, Cody Gallogly, Mitch Harble, Noah Dunlap, and R.J. Jacobs.

The complete purse breakdown for this event is: 5000, 2500, 1200, 900, 800, 700, 600, 500, 450, 425, 400, 400, 400, 400, 400, 400, 400, 400, 400, 400. Heat races pay: 40, 30, 20, 10 thanks to NAPA of Fremont, Helms & Sons Construction, The Cushion.com and Hoosier Race Tires. $50 bonus awards are provided by All Star Performance, The Bridge at Sidney, and Kear's Speed Shop. As always with FAST, there are NO membership fees or entry fees of any kind.

For race teams, tires must be 4 corner Hoosier with the right rear a choice of the H15, H20, Medium or W18. You do NOT have to run the same right rear all night. Wings must be flat top with maximum 2" wickerbill. Cars must be 1400 pounds after qualifying/racing with the driver. NO mufflers required for Atomic Speedway. We will be using the yellow Westhold transponders. Also, fuel and parts WILL be at the track this weekend.

Load up your friends and family and let's continue the tradition of a packed Atomic grandstand for the first FAST event of the season!
