This was my first regional midget race (and the first time I've seen the Fidgets), and I was a bit disappointed by the car count, but the action was still good. The night was over in 2 hours with heat races for each class, a 15 minute break before the features. The family appreciated that.

I think with all of the practice available today and tomorrow, it eliminated the need to run the regional midget show last night for 400 teams.
I'm also a little wierd, I really enjoy seeing the young drivers before they hit it big. Last night was way cool for me. My girls loved it too since Alison MacLeod won.
Pat, it was awesome to hear you call a race again...it's been a while since I've been to one of your races.
