And don't rag on the O'Connors for last week. The show ran so fast (as usual) that they had to kill time so that you could see the fireworks in the sky. And I think interviewing the guys in front of the stands so people could see them and kids could get autographs was a great way to fill the time. And thanks for making my point with your 10:45 statement. I'd say the ENTIRE program plus fireworks being over at 10:45 after a nearly 35-minute intermission is pretty good.
Some people just don't get it!
And some people don't get that fans didn't pay to see a fireworks display, they paid to see a race. We could've been home at a decent time last Sunday night. Instead they dragged out the program to show us our third round of fireworks for the weekend and we didn't get home until after 2:30am.

The program was running very smoothly and swiftly. Give the fans the option of whether or not they want to watch the fireworks by having them after the races are over. If they want to stay, they will. If they don't, they'll get out of everyone else's way.
