Jubilburns is being more than kind describing the track conditions at Linda's last night. The track conditions were horrible with the feature looking like a dust bomb exploded or a haboob from the southwest rolled over the area. The fans in attendance were robbed of "seeing" a competitive race and paid $25 to see or not to see the USAC midgets.
My opinion is that USAC officials should look for another Friday night venue for next year's Eastern swing with Big Diamond Raceway not far up the road off of Rt. 81 and where they already host the USAC East Coast sprint cars. A track that cannot properly prepare a racing surface any better than Linda's did last night do not deserve the privilege to host the best midget racing in the country. The surface was pitiful!!!!
